A Dojo That Feels Like Family
Martial arts is about more than just fighting; it's about the people you train with. At Omjiujitsu, we have built a space where discipline meets support, birthdays are celebrated on the mats, and our mascot Moti is always part of the crew.
After an intense BJJ seminar, we all shared a meal together. Learning and growing as a team is what we're all about. Happy Republic Day!
I'm so grateful for my students. Celebrating Teacher's Day with them is a reminder of the responsibility I have and the wonderful memories we're creating together.
Thank you to my amazing students for the birthday surprise. Being your coach and celebrating these moments with you is the greatest gift.
After a hard Sunday training session, nothing beats a fun ice bath to cool down. Even Moti wanted to join in on the fun!
Celebrating our gym mascot Moti's first birthday with the whole crew. He brings so much joy and is a true part of our Omjiujitsu family.
A proud moment with my students and our guest coach. Seeing kids of all ages and belt levels training and learning together is what makes our community special.
About More Than a Gym, We're a Family
You won't find a sterile, corporate gym environment here. When we have a birthday, a belt promotion, or even just a tough Sunday training session, the whole crew gets involved. Whether it's post-training ice baths or sharing a meal after a seminar, we treat this dojo like our second home because real growth happens when you feel comfortable enough to push your limits.
It starts with safety and ends with community
Many parents ask if a martial arts dojo will be too aggressive for their child. My answer is always the same: if you do not build a community, you cannot build confidence. Yes, we teach BJJ, Muay Thai, and wrestling, but the real work happens in the 'Mat Chats' after practice. That is where we talk about handling bullying, managing school pressure, and simply being a good human.
Why our space matters
We train in a residential basement dojo in Sector 46. It is not fancy, and it does not need to be. We have fans, mats, and heavy bags. What we do not have is the intimidation factor of a commercial gym. When a kid walks in here, they aren't just another number; they are part of a team.
Join the crew
We don't do shortcuts here. If you are looking for a place where your child learns to defend themselves while genuinely enjoying the process of getting stronger, come by for a session. Meet the team, meet Moti, and see how we do things.
Anand Sharma
I am Anand. I started Omjiujitsu because I was bullied as a kid, and I wanted to create the kind of place I wish I had growing up. Here, I am not just a coach—I am a mentor, a teammate, and a friend to everyone who walks through that door.
