Stop looking for shortcuts. I teach real, effective self-defense that works when it counts, not just on the mats.

I was honored to be invited to HSV Global School to conduct a self-defense workshop for girls. Creating awareness about women's safety is our responsibility.

As a coach, child safety is my number one priority. It's heartbreaking to see abusive and dangerous training methods being passed off as martial arts. Parents, please be aware.

About Practical Skills for the Real World

You might see flashy moves in movies and think that is how self-defense works. It is not. In a real-world situation, you do not have time for complex choreography. My training strips away the nonsense. We focus on simple, high-percentage moves—how to create space, how to break a grip, and how to stay calm. Whether you are a student or a parent looking for your child, these sessions are about muscle memory and confidence, not aesthetics.

I have seen too many students taught magic techniques that fail the second pressure is applied. My approach at Omjiujitsu is different because it is rooted in reality. We blend Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling, and boxing—not because they look cool, but because they work.

During our workshops, like the ones we have held at schools across Gurugram, I teach students that safety starts with awareness. It is about understanding your environment and knowing exactly how to escape a threat, not just fighting back. I also focus heavily on the mental side. Through what I call 'Mat Chats,' we work on handling peer pressure and anti-bullying tactics.

Parents, I know you worry about injury. That is why our training is strictly supervised and structured. We do not do wild sparring. We do controlled, progressive drills that build capability without the risk. If you are looking for a quick fix, this is not the place for you. But if you want to learn skills that could actually save you in a pinch, let us talk.

I'm Anand. I was bullied growing up, so I know exactly what it is like to feel powerless. My mission with Omjiujitsu is to replace that fear with actual capability, teaching self-defense that works when the pressure is on.
