At Sanshinkan, our kids' program is about structured progression rather than just learning strikes. Whether your child is starting with fundamental Karate basics in the Weekend Warrior batch or preparing for state-level competitions in our athlete program, we ensure they have full protective gear and constant supervision. We do not just teach techniques; we help them understand when to use them and, more importantly, when not to.
Our approach to martial arts is built on a simple foundation: respect. We know that when people hear MMA, they think of aggression, but in our dojo, it is the exact opposite. Whether it is a 4-year-old tying their belt for the first time or a student competing in the Delhi Olympics, the focus remains on building discipline, focus, and physical literacy.
Safety is non-negotiable here. We use high-density puzzle mats and provide full protective gear for all sparring sessions, including mouthguards and shin guards for our contact programs. Our curriculum is tiered to match the child's skill level. Beginners focus on Karate basics like 'Jab-Cross' flows, stance holding, and bodyweight conditioning like animal crawls. As they progress, we introduce controlled contact, grappling, and eventually, fight IQ for those aiming for competitive platforms.
We are based in Vikaspuri and Rohini, and we believe training should not feel like a chore. We mix traditional technique with dynamic fitness drills like rope climbs, tyre flips, and team-based games. This keeps the energy high and ensures kids get stronger without feeling like they are working out. We also emphasize self-defense awareness, teaching children how to handle real-life scenarios with confidence rather than force.
