Martial Arts and Combat Training in Gurugram
Get a glimpse into our daily training sessions at our Gurugram home dojo. From boxing drills to Kali stick fighting, this is where we build the discipline to handle real-world challenges.
Working on boxing combinations and footwork. Consistent practice is key to making your movements sharp, fast, and instinctive.
Trying something new with Kali, a form of Filipino stick fighting. It's always good to be a student and learn new skills, as it helps me become a better teacher.
A light sparring session with a friend. Training with different partners helps you adapt and improve your timing and reflexes.
Pad work with one of my students. This is a great way to build power, speed, and accuracy in a controlled environment. Keep going, kid!
Another moment from Rakshabandhan with my mother and Moti. Family and the drive to protect them is at the heart of everything I do.
A moment of quiet meditation, with my best friend Moti watching over me. Mental peace and focus are just as important as physical training.
Showing off our new Om Jiu-Jitsu rashguard. It's great to see our community grow and wear our team gear with pride.
About Additional Work & Training
Training at Omjiujitsu is not about gym vanity or competition trophies. Whether we are working on boxing footwork, drilling takedowns, or practicing Kali stick fighting, every session is designed to build the reflexes you actually need outside the mat. My goal is simple: keep the ego low, the intensity high, and the focus on what actually works when things get real.
You won't find flashy, impractical katas here. My training philosophy is built on 'no shortcuts' because safety is too important to leave to chance.
The Training Philosophy
We train in a raw, home-dojo environment in Sector 46, Gurugram. This is where we break down complex movements into actionable drills. Whether you are a beginner learning to throw a proper punch or looking to refine your ground survival skills, the focus remains on:
- Real-World Application: We test everything. If it doesn't work under pressure, we don't teach it.
- Adaptive Learning: Training with different partners—like my Japanese training brother or local students—teaches you to adapt your rhythm, speed, and timing.
- Mental Conditioning: Physical skill is only half the battle. We focus on the mindset needed to stay calm during an adrenaline spike.
Why Join Our Sessions?
My students come from all walks of life, and the community we have built is supportive, serious, and free of unnecessary ego. We mix boxing, Muay Thai, Jiu-Jitsu, and even elements of traditional weaponry like Kali. It is hard work, but it is honest work. If you are looking for a place where you will be pushed to improve, not just to prove something, then this is the space for you.
Come train with us, build your confidence, and join a community that takes your personal safety as seriously as you do.
