Anti-Bullying & Kids' Self-Defense Training in Gurugram
Practical skills to help your child build confidence and handle bullies. We don't teach aggression; we teach how to stay safe and stand tall.
This is a reaction video I made to an abusive training practice I saw online. Child safety is my top priority. I teach kids to be strong and confident, but I will never tolerate or use methods that are abusive or harmful.
I was also bullied as a kid, which is why I am so passionate about my anti-bullying series. In this podcast clip, I talk about how training helped me find my confidence and how I use those lessons to help children today.
Here's a fun take on "Expectations vs Reality" with my students. While we have a good laugh, it also shows the difference between flashy, unrealistic moves and the practical, effective techniques we practice in class.
About Anti-Bullying & Kids' Self-Defense
Unlike generic classes that teach flashy, movie-style kicks, my approach is rooted in reality. We focus on neutralizing conflicts before they turn physical. Your child learns how to use a firm voice, set boundaries, and if push comes to shove, how to safely pin a bully without causing harm or getting into disciplinary trouble at school.
We don't teach techniques that only look good on camera. My anti-bullying module is built on three pillars: awareness, de-escalation, and control.
In our 4-session Sunday module, we cover:
- Verbal Defense: How to look a peer in the eye and use a firm voice to set boundaries. We role-play common school conflicts so your child doesn't freeze up.
- Fall Safety: Essential drills to protect the head and body if they are shoved or tripped.
- Control Tactics: Using wrestling-based pins to neutralize a situation without throwing punches. This is crucial because it allows your child to protect themselves while staying within school rules.
I believe the mind is as important as the body. We incorporate breathing exercises and meditation alongside physical drills to help kids manage the adrenaline rush that comes with being picked on. This isn't just about fighting; it is about building the mental fortitude to walk away from drama.
We train at my home dojo in Sector 46, Gurugram. It is not a commercial facility with mirrors and AC—it is a raw, honest space where we put in the work. Whether your child is dealing with a specific bully or you just want them to have better situational awareness, these classes provide tools they can actually use in the real world.
