(Video) Here’s a look at a cozy Sunday morning workshop in the heart of Bangalore. Participants sipped iced tea, learned about the history of the craft, and printed their own beautiful bookmarks and tote bags.

(Video) I was so excited to bring block printing to Seychelles in collaboration with Wildflour Cafe. It was a beautiful morning where a lovely group of ladies created their own unique tote bags and bookmarks.

(Video) For International Women's Day, my team and I set up a free workshop at Garuda Mall. We invited women and kids to celebrate themselves by printing tote bags with designs they love.

(Video) My mission is to simplify block printing so everyone can enjoy it. This video shows some of my wonderful students getting hands-on during one of my recent art classes for adults.

(Video) Art has no language barrier. It was a pleasure to host this "Atelier Block Print" for a wonderful group from Bangalore Accueil, who had a great time printing together.

About this collection

My workshops are not about achieving a flawless final product; they are about embracing the wobbly lines and beautiful smudges that make handmade art real. You will learn to handle traditional, hand-carved teak blocks and use non-toxic, skin-safe inks to print on organic fabrics, all while I share the stories behind the patterns.

We move away from rigid, classroom-style learning. My sessions are designed to be therapeutic and social, often held in cozy cafe spaces or my dedicated studio in Domlur. We begin with a bit of history to understand the weight and tradition of the hand-carved teak blocks we use. From there, it is all about the feel. You will learn to manage pressure, master the alignment, and experiment with dual-color application on materials like organic cotton totes or canvas pouches.

Many participants come in feeling nervous about messing up their fabric. I always remind them that the slight variation in the print is exactly what a machine cannot replicate. It is the signature of human effort. We provide all the professional pigment dyes and supplies, so you just need to bring your curiosity.

Who are these for? Anyone. I have hosted groups of teens, corporate teams, and retirees. Whether you are looking for a solo hobby, a date-day idea, or a way to bond with friends, these workshops provide a quiet, tactile break from the city rush. We keep batch sizes small to ensure I can walk around and help everyone with their specific design choices and technique tweaks. If you have ever wanted to customize your own wardrobe or home decor, this is the place to start.

Amoha Prints

Studio at Doddanekkundi, BengaluruStarting ₹1,500 per person per session

I’m Pooja, and I started Amoha Prints to show that you don’t need to be an artist to make art. My workshops are all about ditching the perfectionism and finding a little peace in the process of creating something with your own hands. It’s just us, some ink, and the joy of making.
