Meet Pooja: The Heart Behind Amoha Prints

I am Pooja, and I believe art is best when it is shared. Here is a little about why I do what I do and how I bring the ancient craft of block printing to your celebrations and workshops in Bangalore.

(Image) I believe every celebration deserves a creative spark. My mission is to make art an experience you can feel, creating meaningful moments at weddings, baby showers, and corporate events.

(Image) This is a skill that flows naturally and fills me with energy. I feel most myself when I'm helping others create something beautiful and meaningful.

(Image) My purpose is to bring joyful, hands-on moments to life, where people can connect, create, and carry home something with deep meaning.

(Image) Adding joy, beauty, and meaning to your moments. That’s how I feel I add value to the world, one print at a time.

(Image) What you hold in your hands isn't fragile, it's living. Each block is filled with history and potential, ready for you to add your chapter to its story.

(Image) These blocks aren't just tools. They represent the pause between art and touch, the physical connection to a creative impulse.

(Image) The grooves in each block carry the rhythm of the hands that carved them. Holding one is like feeling a connection to artisans from generations past.

About this collection

Every block I bring to your event carries its own history, often with slight nicks or wear that machines simply cannot replicate. When you work with me, you will notice these small imperfections in your prints, and that is exactly the point. It ensures your final design is truly one-of-a-kind, carrying the unique, human rhythm of the person who pressed it onto the fabric.

When I started Amoha Prints, I wanted to create more than just art classes. I wanted to build spaces where people could reconnect with the slow, deliberate pace of traditional Indian crafts. Whether I am setting up a live printing station for a wedding in Bangalore or leading a session at my studio in Domlur, the goal is always the same: to make the process accessible, messy, and deeply rewarding.

I believe in sustainability that is practical, not just theoretical. That is why I use organic cotton, skin-safe pigment dyes, and recycled materials for all my workshops and events. When you join a session, you are not just learning a technique; you are participating in a conversation about heritage and mindful making.

For corporate teams and private events, I offer custom experiences that act as a creative icebreaker. We move away from screens and move toward tactile, sensory engagement. For my studio classes, I maintain small, intimate groups to ensure I can offer hands-on guidance, whether we are exploring block printing, sketching, or painting. If you are looking for a creative escape or a unique way to celebrate a milestone, I am here to help you get started.
