Master Your Mind Through Aiki Jujutsu
Aiki Jujutsu is not about fighting; it is about learning how not to fight. Discover a path to manage stress, improve your posture, and find inner balance.
I believe the only real competition is with yourself. This video shares my philosophy on personal growth. The goal is to be better than the person you were yesterday, and this training is the tool to help you do that.
This is my core belief. Life is about growth. Aiki Jujutsu is a way to push your boundaries, to see that what you thought was a limit was only a doorway.
I have found my gift in this martial art after many hard years. My purpose now is to share it with you. This is the philosophy that drives my teaching every single day.
If you have dreams, your age does not matter. Many of my students in their 30s and 40s are just starting and finding a new sense of youth and energy. Do not let a number stop you from achieving your goals.
The Hindi words here mean, "Should I give up? Me? My hard work would be offended." This is the spirit of resilience I bring to my practice and my teaching. We do not give up.
This art teaches you to be present and aware. Every moment in training and in life is an opportunity. You must learn to see it and take it, because some things only happen once.
Standing before our flag, I am reminded that this art is also about character. Through training, you will discover your own values and find the discipline to live by them.
The words here say, "People don't shake your hand, they shake hands with your good times." This is a hard truth. My training prepares you to be self-reliant, to find strength within yourself that does not depend on others.
A reminder to seize every opportunity for growth. This training is one such chance. The posture shown here requires focus and commitment, just like any important decision in life.
This is a variation of an important message. Never limit yourself. Through the discipline of martial arts training, you will learn that anything is possible when your mind and body work together.
About The Way of the Mind: More Than a Fight
You do not need prior experience or elite fitness to start training here. My classes focus on 'Tai Sabaki'—body movement—and breathing mechanics rather than brute strength. We look at how you handle stress in the dojo so you can handle it with more clarity at your office or home.
Training for the Modern Mind
Martial arts is often misunderstood as a display of aggression, but at its core, it is a mechanism for self-regulation. In my Aiki Jujutsu sessions, we strip away the shouting and the obsession with winning. Instead, we focus on three pillars: Position, Posture, and Process.
Who is this for?
Most of my students are in their 30s and 40s. They are professionals and family members feeling the weight of modern stress. If you feel like you are 'too old' or 'not fit enough' to start, you are exactly who needs to be on the mat. We are not training for a cage fight; we are training to handle the pressure of daily life without breaking.
Where and How
- In-Person (Koramangala & Malleswaram): We train in local community halls. Expect traditional etiquette, tactile feedback, and direct corrections to your movement. It is a space for serious practice.
- Online Classes: For those who cannot make it to the dojo, I run interactive Zoom sessions. You will need a partner of similar strength to practice drills, but the focus remains on personal mechanics and mobility.
The Philosophy of Growth
My path to Aiki Jujutsu was not easy, and the lessons I teach come from real, lived experience. Life provides plenty of challenges—the dojo is where you learn to navigate them with composure. I do not care if you are better than someone else; I only care that you are better than the person you were yesterday. If you are ready to put in the work, I am ready to guide you.
