Digital Sketching and Animation Explorations
I use digital mediums to experiment with motion and fluid lines. These sketches are my way of capturing the energy of a moment through simple, calligraphic forms.
A short digital animation I created, exploring the human form in motion. I use expressive, calligraphic lines to capture the energy and grace of a dancer.
This is an abstract digital painting animation. I experiment with brush strokes and color to convey a feeling or mood, which is a great exercise in creative expression.
Another one of my digital sketch animations. This piece plays with abstract forms and splatters to create a sense of dynamic movement and energy.
About Instructor's Digital Sketches
These aren't meant to be polished masterpieces. They are raw, time-based exercises in understanding how a single, flowing gesture can convey an entire action, a technique that is essential whether you are sketching on paper or animating on screen.
While my primary focus at Advik Art and Design is mentoring students for NID and NIFT entrance exams, I believe a designer's growth never stops. I started exploring these digital animations to challenge my own sense of form and rhythm. In our Noida studio, I often teach students that design is as much about observation as it is about execution. Whether we are doing still life studies with charcoal or learning about composition for the Creative Aptitude Test, the core principle remains the same: seeing the movement before you make the mark. If you are looking to understand how to apply these concepts to your own portfolio or just want to try a new medium, I am happy to guide you through my process.
Advik Art and Design
I'm Prabuddha. After graduating from NID Ahmedabad, I opened this studio to keep the spirit of learning alive. My digital work is just one side of how I practice art, and I bring that same inquisitive, hands-on approach to every class I lead here in Sector 37.
