Watch Me Draw: My Caricature Process
Art is not just the final sketch. It is the magic of lines turning into a face. Here is a look at my process, whether I am sketching live at a party or working on an iPad for a custom gift.

About this collection
When I sketch live at events, I do not use complicated gear. A simple marker and a steady hand are all I need to capture a likeness in just a few minutes. It is fast, fun, and keeps the energy high while your guests watch their own caricatures come to life on paper.
Live Marker vs. Digital Design
My process changes depending on what you need. When I am at a live event, I use markers to create quick, bold sketches. The goal is to be fast and keep people smiling. It is about capturing a moment and giving your guests a keepsake they can take home immediately.
For digital commissions, I use my iPad and Procreate. This is a more detailed process where I focus on color, shading, and the specific details you want. Whether it is a tribute to a Kannada icon like Dr. Rajkumar or a custom illustration for a birthday, I treat the screen like my canvas, building the layers from the line art to the final finish.
Why I Love the Process
My work is deeply connected to my roots in Karnataka. Whether I am drawing a well-known actor or a family member, I look for the quirks that make a person unique. I am not trying to make a perfect, stiff portrait. I am trying to make something that feels real and makes you smile.
If you are planning an event in Bengaluru or want a digital piece made, seeing my process helps you understand the effort that goes into each sketch. I believe art should be approachable and fun, not something that feels out of reach.
