About The Art in Action: My Process
When I am sketching at your event, the process is as much a part of the show as the final portrait. I start by observing a guest's features and quirks, then bring them to life with bold, exaggerated lines that spark laughter.
Whether it is a wedding in Delhi or a corporate gathering, my setup is designed to be fully interactive. For physical caricatures, I use high-quality cartridge paper and markers, focusing on speed and humor to ensure I can cover 40 to 50 guests in a single three-hour session. If you prefer digital caricatures, I bring an iPad Pro where the magic happens on screen. This digital setup allows your guests to watch the live drawing process, and we can even project the art onto a larger TV or screen to make the sketching a central focal point of the party. Every sketch serves as a quick souvenir that guests keep, often protected in individual sleeves so the artwork stays crisp. I focus on capturing the energy of the moment, making sure the sketch reflects the person's smile and character rather than just a simple drawing. My goal is to create a shared experience where people laugh at themselves and enjoy the art created in real time.
