Our approach to retail design goes beyond simple square footage. For a project like Ramindri Walk in Guwahati, we integrated traditional Assamese gamchha motifs into the facade design, creating a cultural landmark that is instantly recognizable. This is not just decoration. The patterns are perforated to manage airflow and natural light, ensuring the building functions as efficiently as it stands out.
Great commercial architecture balances two distinct needs: the developer's requirement for efficient carpet area and the visitor's need for a seamless shopping experience. Our process starts with identifying the building's identity within its specific context.
Whether it is incorporating cultural motifs into the facade or using stacked, offset blocks to create visual interest at Vinuss One in Samastipur, we ensure the form follows function. We integrate technical systems early in the design phase. This includes GFC documentation for complex grids, structural coordination for large spans, and facade engineering that accounts for the local climate.
For instance, in our Hubli mall project, we utilized concrete jalis and double-glazed systems to mitigate heat gain while maintaining the visibility required for retail branding. We handle the entire project lifecycle, from initial master planning and municipal submission drawings to final on-site supervision. This ensures that the design vision you see in the initial renders is exactly what gets built on the ground, minimizing conflicts and maintaining structural integrity throughout the execution phase.
