This award-winning design for a residential development in a valley addresses the challenges of building on mountain terrains. The facade is inspired by the profile of mountain ranges, and all units are oriented for maximum light and unobstructed views.
An analytical diagram of our valley residential project. It illustrates how the building's orientation follows the sun's path and how the form is inspired by mountain profiles, incorporating sustainable design principles for mountain architecture.
A glimpse into the bar area of the Novotel in Guwahati, which we designed. The space features a contemporary aesthetic with a grand, spiraling central light fixture over the bar, creating a sophisticated ambiance.
This video shows the transformation of an existing site into the modern and stylish Novotel hotel in Guwahati. It highlights the journey from a simple structure to a high-end hospitality space, showcasing our interior and exterior design work.

About Hospitality, Cultural & Institutional Spaces
When we approach institutional or hospitality projects, our primary focus is how a building serves the community around it. For instance, in our design for Jharkhand Bhawan in Navi Mumbai, we didn't just create a facade; we integrated traditional Sohrai painting elements onto the central dome. This choice ensures the structure feels like a genuine extension of the state's cultural identity rather than just another commercial building. Whether it is a school or a resort, we design for the sensory experience—how the light moves through a space, how the scale of a lobby makes you feel, and how the materials ground the structure in its specific location.
Our approach to hospitality, cultural, and institutional architecture is rooted in a simple philosophy: a building must be a backdrop for life, not a distraction from it. We move beyond standard floor plans to create environments that facilitate human interaction.
Designing for Context and Community
In projects like the Novotel in Guwahati, we transformed an existing site into a contemporary hospitality space by reimagining the interior circulation and light fixtures to create a sophisticated, modern ambiance. Similarly, our work on the Eupheus World School focuses on zoning, separating public, semi-private, and private areas to create a secure and progressive learning environment. By organizing the site into distinct zones, we ensure that students have space for both quiet study and social interaction, which is critical in institutional design.
The Intersection of Tradition and Modernity
We often look to history to inform modern design. Our proposal for an Astro-Tourism center in Bihar, 'Jantar Mantar,' is a study in directional mathematics and Vastu principles inspired by the work of Aryabhatta. By utilizing traditional architectural wisdom like courtyards and jalis, we achieve passive cooling and energy efficiency without relying solely on mechanical systems.
Our Process
- Site Analysis: Every project, whether in a mountain valley or a busy urban plot, starts by studying sun paths and natural ventilation.
- Spatial Volume: We don't just think in 2D plans. We use 3D walkthroughs to test how the scale of a room influences user mood.
- Technical Integration: For high-traffic areas like lobbies or auditoriums, we prioritize durability and acoustics alongside aesthetics, ensuring that the design remains functional for years to come.
