About Meet Our Teachers
We don't hire teachers just to demonstrate poses. Our instructors are practitioners first, chosen for their ability to guide you safely through your own unique journey. When you step onto the mat with our team, you get hands-on correction, clear anatomical cues, and the knowledge to modify postures using props if needed. Whether you are in our Kalyannagar studio or logging in online, our teachers actually see you, ensuring you leave the mat having built actual strength and stability.
At Absolute Yoga, we believe the teacher is the bridge between the ancient discipline of yoga and your daily life. Our instructors—including Trupti, Reshma, Sangeeta, Sahana, Prianka, and Shadiya—share a common thread: they are practitioners first. They don’t just show up to lead a session; they show up to refine their own practice, which makes them better equipped to guide you.
What you won’t find here are instructors who simply stand at the front and perform while you struggle to keep up. Our classes are defined by interaction. Expect detailed cues that focus on alignment, safety, and anatomy rather than just flexibility. If you are struggling with a specific Hatha posture or need to modify a Vinyasa flow to accommodate an old injury, our teachers have the expertise to suggest alternatives using blocks, straps, or chairs.
Each of our teachers brings a unique background to the mat. Some are deeply rooted in Hatha, emphasizing stillness and breathwork, while others thrive in dynamic Vinyasa or specialized sessions like prenatal yoga. But they all share our studio’s ethos—that yoga is for everyone, regardless of their current physical state. They are trained to see you, correct your form, and ensure you leave feeling like you’ve actually made progress.
We keep our batch sizes small intentionally. It’s the only way to ensure that you get the personal attention required to build a sustainable, injury-free practice. You’ll get to know them, and more importantly, they will get to know your specific needs.
