The final week decides your result. From water manipulation to backstage tan and pump-up, I handle the tactical execution so you can focus entirely on the stage.

Condition update and backstage tan application. This is a crucial part of the process to highlight muscle definition under the harsh stage lights. I handle this for my athletes to ensure a perfect, even coat.

Pumping up backstage with resistance bands. This is done just before going on stage to force blood into the muscles, making them look fuller and more vascular. I guide my athletes on exactly which exercises to do.

Backstage with my brother. The atmosphere is intense, but we stay focused. These final moments are about staying calm and getting ready for battle.

Getting the final coat of tan applied. A good tan can be the difference between placing and winning. It's a detail I never overlook for my team.

About Backstage & Peak Week Support

Standing backstage, the pressure is real. I don't just watch; I manage your hydration, apply your tan, and run the final pump-up session with resistance bands to drive blood into the muscles before you walk out. You have one shot to look your best, and I ensure your conditioning is locked in so nothing is left to chance.

The week before a show isn't a vacation. It is a critical period where we manipulate water, sodium, and carb intake to achieve that dry, grainy, stage-ready look. My approach follows 'The System'—a strict protocol where we adjust your intake based on daily feedback rather than guesswork.

The Peak Week Protocol

We don't gamble with your physique. My strategy covers:

  • Water & Sodium Manipulation: We carefully taper your intake to shed subcutaneous water, ensuring your muscles look tight and vascular under stage lights.
  • Carb Loading: We time your glycogen replenishment to ensure your muscles are full, not flat, when you step on the floor.

Backstage Execution

Getting the look right is useless if your presentation fails. I am with you at the venue for the final hours. This includes:

  • Tan Application: A poor tan can hide muscle separation. I ensure a perfect, even coat that highlights your conditioning.
  • The Pump-Up: We use resistance bands to force blood into your muscles just minutes before you go out. This is where we create that final 'pop' that judges look for.
  • Mandatory Posing: I check your posture one last time to ensure you are hitting every pose to hide weaknesses and highlight your strengths.

The Mindset

This is a mental battle. Doubt is the enemy. I've competed at NPC Delhi and IHFF Olympia, so I know the nerves you're feeling. I am there to keep you calm, focused, and ready to battle. You aren't just getting a coach; you are getting a teammate who has been exactly where you are standing. If you are ready to work, I will show you how to win.
