I do not just tell you to cut carbohydrates. I actively manage your sodium, water, and macronutrient intake hour by hour during the final week. This scientific approach ensures you step on stage with hard, vascular muscle instead of appearing flat or bloated.
Getting to the stage is only half the battle. If you miss your peak, your months of hard work in the gym will not show. My peak week protocol removes the guesswork. We start by manipulating glycogen levels, depleting them to sensitize your muscles before a strategic carb load. This draws water into the muscle cells, creating that full, round look judges want to see.
I treat your body like an experiment. We monitor your weight, skin tightness, and vascularity daily. If you are holding water, we adjust sodium levels. If you look flat, we adjust your carb intake. It is a process that requires total discipline from both coach and athlete. This is why I only work with people who are ready to do the work religiously.
