Whether you are trying to nail your first handstand or finally understand the mechanics of a deep backbend, we are here to help. Join our community-led challenges and detailed tutorials to build strength, safety, and self-trust on your mat.

Join our 30-day Parivrtta Parsvakonasana (Revolved Side Angle Pose) challenge. This video kicks off our #AayanaTwistathon30, a journey to discover the strength hidden in every twist.

Time for a new asana challenge. This month, we're holding a 30-second side plank (Vasisthasana). It's a test of strength, focus, and finding beauty in the burn.

Are you ready for our 30-day Chakrasana journey? This image shows our community coming together to open their hearts and energize their spines in Wheel Pose.

"Practice with consistency for a long period of time, and it becomes a part of you." We invite you to join our monthly challenge, this time focusing on Natarajasana (Dancer's Pose).

A student practices Natarajasana, using a strap for support on the mat while another explores the pose in an aerial hammock. We believe in using props to practice mindfully.

"Teach, Love, Inspire." Our community practices Natarajasana together, each at their own level, supporting each other's journey.

Having difficulties with Bakasana (Crow Pose)? This tutorial breaks down the key steps, from hand placement to hip lift, to help you find your balance.

Feeling stuck in your forward bend? This video provides practical tips and drills, like squat-to-forward-bend transitions, to help you deepen your fold safely.

A step-by-step tutorial on how to do the Chakrasana walk. We guide you through the coordinated movement of hands and feet to add a dynamic element to your Wheel Pose.

Working towards the full expression of Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (One-Legged King Pigeon Pose). This video shows the progression, encouraging practice with a belt or in mermaid pose.

About Deepen Your Practice: Asana Breakdowns & Challenges

At our Jayanagar studio, we don't just ask you to "do" a pose. We break down the mechanics—like how to use a strap for Natarajasana or exactly where to shift your weight in Bakasana—so you can safely explore your limits without fear. Whether you're joining one of our monthly online challenges or dropping into a skill-focused workshop, we’re here to help you move past the 'stuck' points and find the rhythm that feels right for your unique body.

Moving Past the Plateau

Yoga progress is rarely linear. You might find your forward fold deepening one day and feel completely rigid the next. That is normal. Our 'Deepen Your Practice' sessions are designed to move you away from just following a flow and toward understanding your own anatomy.

How We Break It Down

We focus on the pillars of movement: stability, mobility, and awareness.

  • Safe Progressions: If you are working on inversions like handstands, we don't just jump into the wall. We start with wrist conditioning and shoulder stability, using props like blocks and straps to ensure your joints are supported.
  • The 'Why' Behind the Pose: In our workshops, we explain the purpose of a movement. For example, in our Chakrasana (Wheel Pose) tutorials, we guide you through the transition from the floor to the pose, focusing on glute engagement to protect your lower back rather than just pushing your spine to arch.
  • Community Challenges: Our monthly challenges (like the #AayanaTwistathon30) are not about showing off. They are about consistency. By practicing one specific movement pattern for 30 days, you build the muscle memory required to unlock more complex variations later.

Workshop & Course Logistics

Most of our niche workshops are time-boxed (90–120 minutes) to ensure you leave with actionable techniques. For more intensive skill-building, like our 4-week Progressive Skill Series, we cap batch sizes to ensure every student gets real-time, hands-on adjustments.

If you are feeling stuck or frustrated, come by the studio. Sometimes all it takes is a different perspective or a small alignment tweak to make that 'impossible' pose suddenly feel accessible.

We have been living and breathing yoga for 12 years, watching our little Jayanagar community grow from a few mats to a proper family. We aren't interested in Instagram-perfect poses; we care about the wobbles, the breakthroughs, and the honest, sometimes messy, journey of getting stronger together.
