About this collection
Our dojangs in Paschim Vihar and Kirari are built for practical learning, featuring 25mm safety puzzle mats and standard protective gear for sparring. Whether you are a parent looking for character development for your child or an adult wanting to master real self-defense, we ensure every session focuses on consistent, safe technique.
Our Training Approach
We don't believe in quick fixes. At Shaolin Taekwondo Academy, training is about repetition, discipline, and growth. Whether you are joining the Beginner Foundation Program or the Advanced Competitive Program, the structure is designed to build a solid foundation. You will learn core techniques like Ap Chagi (front kick) and Dollyeo Chagi (roundhouse kick) in a controlled environment.
Programs for Everyone
- Beginner Foundation: Perfect for kids and adults starting from scratch. We cover basic stances, blocks, and essential self-defense moves to make you confident.
- Advanced Competitive: For athletes aiming for the tournament circuit. This includes Olympic-style Kyorugi sparring with headguards and chest protectors, plus advanced dynamic kicks like the Tornado and Axe kick.
Beyond the Mat
Martial arts is more than just fighting. We incorporate mental discipline and meditation to help you stay focused. For those aiming for peak physical condition, our students have access to the STA Fitness Arena, which is equipped with functional training zones, including tyre flips, battle ropes, and heavy weight sections.

Shaolin Taekwondo Academy
I started this academy in 2006 to build fighters, not just students. When you step onto my mats, you follow my rules: respect the senior, respect the sport, and push yourself to rise after every fall. I am here to personally guide your path, whether you want to learn self-defense or hit the competitive ring.
