In the Dojang: Group and Personal Taekwondo Training
Step into our Powai studio where fitness meets discipline. Whether you are looking for group motivation or personal coaching, we guide you from your first white belt to your black belt journey.
Experience the power and precision of Taekwondo. This clip shows one of our senior members executing a dynamic spinning kick during a pad drill, a common exercise in our classes to improve accuracy and impact.
Here, one of our students, Arunima Deb, engages in sparring training with Master Andrew. This type of one on one coaching is crucial for developing practical self defense skills and competitive Taekwondo techniques.
An instructor guides a student through kicking drills in our studio. This reflects a typical training moment, focusing on correct form and execution to build a strong foundation in Taekwondo.
After a rigorous training session, flexibility is key. Our young students work on their splits and stretches, an essential part of Taekwondo that improves range of motion and prevents injury.
About In the Dojang: Group and Personal Training
We keep sessions small with a 1:8 instructor-to-student ratio, ensuring you get actual technique feedback on the mats rather than just watching from the back. Whether you are here for self-defense, fitness, or competition prep, every 60-minute session includes focused conditioning work and detailed form correction on our 25mm impact-absorbing mats.
Our Powai studio is built for serious training, with wall-to-wall mirrors and air conditioning to keep you focused. We believe Taekwondo is a path to a stronger body and a sharper mind, and our facility reflects that commitment to quality.
Training Options
- Group Sessions: These are our core 60-minute classes, segregated by age for kids and adults. You will cycle through a complete curriculum: fundamentals of stances, blocks, and strikes, along with agility ladder drills and flexibility training.
- Advanced Coaching: For those aiming for district or state-level performance, we offer 60 to 90-minute intensive tracks. You can choose between Kyorugi (Sparring) to work on strategy and distance management, or Poomsae (Forms) to refine your rhythm and power generation.
The SKYe Approach
We don't just teach kicks. We focus on grit, honesty, and practical self-defense skills like wrist releases and escapes that you can actually use in real life. Every knot in your belt stands for your hard work, and we treat every promotion as a milestone of your growing confidence. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced martial artist, you will find a supportive, disciplined environment here. We invite you to join our family, sweat through the drills, and see how far you can push your limits.
