My Journey in Colours and Community Stories

Whether I am facilitating an immersion program or painting a canvas at home, every piece starts with a conversation. I believe art has the power to bring people together, and this collection shows the various ways I use colour to explore themes like co-creation and the simple beauty of everyday life.

Art is often seen as a solitary pursuit, but my most fulfilling work happens when I share the brush. From facilitating rural immersion programs to documenting my travels through live sketching, I am always looking for ways to blur the line between creator and participant.

When I work on community projects in places like Madhya Pradesh or Arunachal Pradesh, I do not just go in with a pre-decided design. I sit with the people who will live with the art every day. We talk about their memories, their struggles, and their dreams. The resulting mural is not mine; it is a reflection of the collective soul of that community.

My process is messy. You will see sketches that did not make the cut, Pantone landscapes that were just experiments, and photos of the people who make these projects possible. I embrace this imperfection. It is where the honesty lies. If you are looking for art that feels sterile, my work might not be what you want.
