My Fitness Journey and Coaching Philosophy

I traded my corporate desk for the studio floor ten years ago. Here is the grit, the grind, and the community behind the transformation.

Holding this "Health and Fitness Influencer of the Year" award is a result of a decade of hustle. It's proof that if you stay true to your grind and trust the journey, the results will come.

I'm living proof that following your passion can change your life. I left a high paying corporate job to pursue my love for fitness, and my story is a reminder that it's never too late to chase your dreams.

I believe in progress, not perfection. This is a reminder to celebrate the small victories and focus on the journey, because every step forward, no matter how small, is a win.

This is my core belief. Transforming my passion for fitness into my profession has been my calling. It drives me to help others unlock their full potential and discover the joy of a healthy lifestyle.

I had the chance to speak to girls under 25 about fitness and life. I believe it's our responsibility to teach the next generation what we've learned through experience, and it was an honor to share my journey.

Empowering the youth is empowering our future. I led a Yogalates session for a group of young women, sharing my expertise and learning about their perspectives on fitness.

About this collection

I have spent a decade figuring out what actually works, and the answer is simple: consistency. You will see me in these photos with awards and on stages, but my real work happens in the gym with my tribe. If you are looking for someone to coddle you, I am not your coach. But if you are ready to show up, do the work, and get stronger, then we will get along just fine.

My path wasn't a straight line. I left a stable, high-paying corporate career because I realized boardrooms were not where I belonged. I wanted the sweat, the music, and the raw energy of a studio. That transition taught me that fitness is the ultimate form of self-respect.

My coaching style is built on functional reality. I don't believe in quick fixes or magic pills. Whether we are doing plyometric drills in a park, HIIT circuits in a gym, or deep stretching for recovery, the goal is always the same: to build a body that serves you, not just looks good.

When I work with clients in Bangalore, I bring the same intensity that got me here. I push hard because I know your limits are usually psychological, not physical. I have seen women reclaim their confidence, athletes hit personal bests, and corporate teams break their stress cycles through movement.

We train hard, but we also keep it real. Yes, some days it gets chaotic. Kya syappaa hai yeh! is a common phrase in my sessions when things get messy, but we laugh, we recover, and we get back to it. If you want to train with someone who has actually been in the trenches and knows how to push you past your doubts, let's talk.

I’m Shikha. After ten years of running, training, and building my tribe in Bangalore, I’ve learned that the hardest part of any journey is just showing up. My job isn't to hold your hand, but to build your strength so you can hold your own.
