Recovery is rarely a straight line. Whether you are managing post-surgery stiffness or persistent joint pain, my sessions focus on safe, guided movement to help you rebuild your strength and trust your body again at your own pace.

This is my story of 2023. It started with an injury that felt like an impossible mountain to climb, but step by step, I found my way back to strength. It's a reminder that we are all capable of overcoming our challenges.

My recovery wasn't just yoga. It involved strength training, mobility work, and pushing my limits in the gym to rebuild the muscle I had lost. This holistic approach to fitness is something I carry into my teaching.

Finding my Warrior I pose on a rocky outcrop during a trek. Moments like these were milestones in my recovery, proving that I was getting stronger and reclaiming my ability to move freely.

A balancing pose on a mountaintop. This picture is a symbol of my journey, finding stability and peace after a period of struggle. It was all worth it.

A deep backbend pose in front of the Shiva statue at Shivagange. This was taken during a trek that tested my physical limits post-surgery, a powerful moment of reconnecting with my body and spirit.

About My Story: Healing Through Movement

My rehab sessions are not about rushing back to high-intensity training. We focus on manual adjustments and specific prop usage—like yoga blocks and wheels—to stabilize your joints and manage pain levels before we load them. It is about being smart with your recovery, using corrective exercises like ATG squats to bridge the gap between clinical physical therapy and functional fitness.

I have been through the ACL and meniscus surgery cycle myself. I know what it is like to feel frustrated when your body does not do what it used to. That is why my approach to fitness is fundamentally grounded in safety and sustainable alignment.

How We Work Together

If you are training with me at our Cult centers in Koramangala or HSR, we prioritize technique above everything. You can expect:

  • Assessment: We start with your injury history, closely looking at knee tracking, lower back tension, and hip mobility.
  • Prop-Assisted Rehab: We use yoga wheels and blocks as training aids to offload pressure from joints while you build strength.
  • Custom Sequencing: We mix Hatha Yoga alignment with specific mobility drills to improve your functional range of motion.

The Mindset

Remember, it is okay to crawl before you climb. My goal is to get you back to the activities you love—whether that is trekking in Shivagange or just walking without pain—using movement that honors where your body is today. We practice gratitude for the small wins and focus on the strength we are building, one breath at a time.
