Motherhood is a wild, beautiful transformation. I'm sharing my honest story—from pregnancy prep and natural delivery to the reality of postnatal recovery and getting back on the mat.

A visual diary of my pregnancy, week by week, culminating in welcoming my daughter, Jia. This journey transformed everything about me, and the moment I met her, I met a new version of myself. I am so blessed and grateful to have experienced it.

This photo was taken right after my 30-hour labor and natural delivery. My husband was by my side, and it was the most intense and rewarding experience of my life. I wanted a natural birth, and I prepared my mind and body for it.

From a full-term pregnancy belly to holding my baby nine months later. Getting my body back was a process of avoiding overeating, staying hydrated, meditating, and practicing gratitude. Most importantly, I was kind and patient with myself.

Here is a comparison of my body at 41 weeks pregnant and just one week postpartum. It’s amazing to watch the uterus shrink back day by day. In this first week, I focused only on a good diet and connecting with my little one.

A happy moment, fitting back into my pre-pregnancy clothes just seven months postpartum. While my physical measurements might be similar, I have transformed so much internally. I am grateful to my family for supporting this new me.

After my delivery, I lost 18 kgs over 14 months. So many people ask me for the technique. It's a simple, yet powerful, balance of diet, asana practice, and meditation. I've detailed this entire process in my 12-week course.

My journey from fear to faith. I now offer 1-on-1 counseling for pregnancy and postpartum mindset. I share my diet, my mindset techniques for a natural delivery, and how I returned to my normal weight, guiding you to have a peaceful and empowered experience.

This is a postpartum belly wrap, an Indonesian style called Bengkung. I started wrapping my abdomen two days after my normal delivery for physical support. It helped me feel more sturdy and secure during the initial recovery phase.

Let's talk about postpartum hair loss. I had amazing hair during pregnancy, but it started shedding in huge bunches after delivery due to hormonal shifts. It was scary, but it's a natural process, and my hair started getting better after about five months.

No one really prepares you for the challenges of breastfeeding. It took me a full week to get the hang of it and a month to feel okay. It can be a painful process, but with support from a lactation consultant, it becomes manageable.

About My Pregnancy & Postpartum Journey

One of the first things I learned after Jia arrived was that recovery isn't a race. For the first five months, I didn't rush into intense workouts; I focused entirely on Kegels and gentle breathing to heal from within. If you are currently in the thick of it, feeling like your body is a stranger, know that the path back is about consistency, not intensity. My approach is built around the same gentle, step-by-step guidance I used to rebuild my own core, pelvic, and mental strength.
