200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification
A rigorous 14-weekend program designed to bridge the gap between ancient yogic tradition and modern biomechanics for aspiring teachers.
My goal is to help you find your calling and share your passion for yoga. This 200-hour program is structured over 14 weekends, making it possible for working professionals to embark on this transformative journey without disrupting their lives.
My teaching approach goes far beyond physical postures. In this program, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology to guide your future students with confidence and depth.
We focus on providing hands-on experience to build your teaching confidence. The course includes practical teaching sessions with peer feedback, all under the guidance of our expert trainers, to help you refine your instructional skills.
I designed this program with a unique structure spread over 14 weekends to offer flexibility. This allows you to deepen your practice and learn from experienced instructors while managing your weekday commitments.
If you have ever dreamed of sharing the transformative power of yoga with others, this program is your path. My 200-hour weekend Yoga Teacher Training Program is designed to make that dream a reality.
Many people wonder if teaching yoga is the same as practicing it. They are two distinct yet connected paths. My teacher training course helps you deepen your personal practice while also developing the outward-focused skills needed to guide others.
Are you ready to deepen your own practice and learn the art of teaching? Our Teacher Training Course is a comprehensive program that explores the philosophy, practice, and skills required to become an effective yoga teacher.
About this collection
I designed this program to span 14 weekends instead of a standard intensive bootcamp. This structure is intentional. It gives you the necessary time to integrate the anatomy, philosophy, and biomechanics we cover into your daily life. You need to actually live the abhyasa (consistent practice) we teach, ensuring that when you graduate, your teaching comes from genuine experience, not just memorized notes.
This 200-hour certification is not about collecting a diploma. It is an exploration of the science within. My background in engineering informs how I teach biomechanics, while my study of the Yoga Sutras grounds our methodology in tradition.
We focus on three pillars. First, your personal practice. You cannot teach what you have not experienced. We use props like ropes, chairs, and bolsters to refine your own asana practice, preventing injury and understanding alignment from the inside out.
Second, anatomy and physiology. You will learn how the body functions, why certain postures affect the nervous system, and how to safely guide students of varying abilities. We do not just teach poses. We teach how to adjust and modify for real human bodies.
Third, teaching methodology. How do you hold space? How do you give clear, concise instructions? How do you sequence a class? We spend significant time on peer feedback sessions so you build the confidence to lead a room.
This program at my Chandra Layout studio is designed for working professionals. The weekend schedule respects your weekday commitments while keeping the training rigorous. Whether you are aiming to teach professionally, prepare for Ministry of AYUSH YCB Level 1 exams, or simply want to deepen your understanding of the yogic path, this training provides the technical foundation and philosophical clarity to do so.
Yogavijnana
I spent years in engineering before yoga completely reshaped my perspective. I teach this program because I believe that before you can guide anyone else on their mat, you must first build a rock-solid foundation in your own practice.
