Rediscover how your body moves. I combine traditional yoga with modern mobility drills to help you release tension, unlock stiff joints, and build lasting strength at your own pace.

Even with a larger frame, flexibility is always accessible. This video shows a transition from Camel Pose (Ustrasana) to Wheel Pose (Chakrasana), a deep backbend that opens the entire front of the body.

Here, I'm assisting a client with a deep hip opening stretch. We are working on Supta Virasana (Reclined Hero Pose), which is excellent for improving flexibility in the quadriceps and hip flexors.

These stretches are highly effective for everyone. I'm guiding a client through movements that open the mid spine and hips, which can help relieve stiffness, reduce pain and anxiety, and even help manage conditions like scoliosis.

A client practices a standing backbend, a great way to open the chest and shoulders. This simple yet powerful stretch is a reminder that the journey to flexibility happens one small step at a time.

This is a home session focused on lower body mobility and strength. My client is using a chair for balance during a quad stretch and then moving to the mat for a frog pose to open the hips.

The basics are always important. This image shows two clients practicing Gomukhasana (Cow Face Pose) arms, a fundamental stretch for opening tight shoulders.

Here I'm guiding a client through some new mobility movements. We are working on dynamic leg swings to improve hip flexibility and finishing with a relaxing spinal twist.

This is Ustrasana, or Camel Pose, performed by the sea. It's a powerful heart opening backbend that stretches the entire front of the body, from the thighs to the throat.

Using props like a chair can make deep backbends more accessible. Here, a client is using a chair for support to deepen her stretch, opening her spine and shoulders safely.

This is a demonstration of a deep backbend, or scorpion pose variation, using a wall for support. It's an advanced stretch that requires significant spinal flexibility and shoulder opening.

About Mobility & Flexibility Flow

This isn't about pushing into pain or forcing a pose. Whether you are dealing with chronic stiffness or just want to move better, I focus on hands-on guidance and specific prop work. You will not be left alone to figure it out; we use straps, blocks, or chairs together to open areas like the thoracic spine and hips that often stay locked up.

My approach to mobility comes from a place of experience. Years ago, I pushed my body too hard and ended up sidelined for months. That break taught me the most important lesson in fitness: chale to kat hi jayega safar aahista aahista (the journey will eventually be completed, slowly and steadily).

In these sessions, we don't just 'do yoga.' We look at your body as a system. If you have tight shoulders from a desk job or lower back pain from running, we address the root cause. I use manual adjustments, Thai-massage style assisted stretching, and specific movements to release deep-seated tension.

We regularly work with:

  • Props for Accessibility: Using chairs, walls, and blocks to make backbends and hip openers safe for everyone, especially seniors or those managing conditions like Scoliosis or Gout.
  • Joint Mobilization: Micro-movements that target specific stiff points in the hips, thoracic spine, and shoulders.
  • Safe Progression: If you are working toward advanced skills like headstands, we build the necessary strength and alignment slowly, ensuring your joints are prepared before you load them.

Whether you are training at a gym in Breach Candy, a studio in Bandra, or your own living room, my focus is the same: keeping your joints mobile, free of pain, and ready for whatever life throws at you.

I am Samarth Jani. I didn't learn mobility by reading books; I learned it the hard way after an injury forced me to stop everything for six months. Now, I focus on training that respects your body and helps you grow without the ego.
