Yoga is better with friends. Acro yoga isn't just about the poses; it's about building trust, communication, and laughing while you find your center.

When women come together, magic happens. A fun Acro Yoga pose with friends, showing how yoga can be a collaborative and playful practice.

About Playful Practice: Acro Yoga

Acro yoga is the ultimate trust exercise. When you are lifting or being lifted, the focus shifts from the perfect pose to the connection with your partner. It requires presence, bravery, and the willingness to laugh when things go sideways.

Acro yoga is fundamentally about community. While my standard classes are often personal journeys on your own mat, this style brings a refreshing shift. It blends yoga, acrobatics, and healing arts. You learn to balance not just your body but your energy with another person.

Communication is key in these flows. You cannot successfully lift a partner if you are not clear about your intentions, and you cannot be a good base if you are not listening to your flyer. We start with simple balances and slowly progress as the group builds trust.

This practice is incredible for building functional strength and flexibility, but the real benefit is the shift in perspective. It forces you to be in the moment. You cannot worry about your to-do list or an email while you are balancing someone.

If you are looking to step out of your solo practice, these partner sessions offer a safe space to grow. We focus on technique and safety first, ensuring everyone knows how to spot and support each other. Whether you are coming with a friend or looking to meet new people in the yoga community, you will find a supportive space to explore these shapes.

I'm Sharmila. I believe in bending so we don't break, and sometimes, that means holding someone up or letting them hold you. These sessions are where we swap solo focus for shared energy and a lot of laughter.
