We don't train for numbers. We build capable, resilient bodies by using the park as our gym—mastering balance, flow, and the strength to own your space.

Bodyweight movements like the human flag are the ultimate test of core and upper body strength. We guide you through the progressions to master these advanced calisthenics skills.

Play with your strength and explore your limits. This horizontal bar hold against a wall is a great exercise for building core stability and body tension.

Unleash your inner spider-man. Wall traversing is a powerful exercise for building core and upper body strength, teaching you to use every part of your body to move.

Grip the bar like a vanar. We teach you how to use your grip and body momentum to swing and transition on bars, a foundational skill for many advanced movements.

Slow and steady wins the race. This controlled back lever progression builds incredible pulling strength and body awareness, one small step at a time.

Turn fear into strength. This one-take video shows our community working together on bar hangs, pushing each other to hold on longer and get stronger.

A thoughtful action can have a profound effect. This synchronized dip hold shows the focus and strength we cultivate in our training sessions.

Your mind and body are the first obstacles. Here, practitioners use the monkey bars to build upper body strength and overcome the mental challenge of supporting their own weight.

Trust makes everything easy. With a partner spotting you, you can safely work on challenging movements like pull-ups and ladder climbs, building strength and camaraderie.

Functional training works multiple muscle groups at once. We use our environment to perform full-body workouts that improve strength, endurance, and flexibility.

About Strength, Balance & Bodyweight Training

We don’t use machines here. Whether you’re learning your first pull-up or holding a handstand, we teach you how to use your body and the environment to build strength that actually helps in real life. It is not about how much weight you can lift, but how well you can move your own body through space.

At Vanarshala, we look at strength differently. While a gym focuses on isolating muscles for aesthetics, our training focuses on 'functional' capacity—the kind that makes everyday life feel effortless.

Why Train Outside?

When you train on grass, dirt, and concrete, your body learns to adapt. You aren't just building biceps; you are developing proprioception (body awareness), coordination, and the grip strength needed to vault a wall or hold a bar. Our sessions in Delhi parks and our Gurgaon Shala are designed to make you feel as wild and capable as a monkey, hence the name 'Vanar Sena'.

What You Will Master

  • Foundational Pulling: From active hangs to muscle-ups, we teach the progression, not just the feat. You start where you are.
  • Balance & Precision: Walking rails, balancing on poles, or simple coordination drills. These are the unsung heroes of injury prevention and stability.
  • Body Tension: Exercises like the back lever or human flag aren't just cool tricks. They teach you how to engage your entire core, creating a rigid, powerful frame that protects your spine and joints.

We keep our group batches small (10-15 movers) so our coaches can actually see your form, guide your technique, and help you scale movements to your current ability. If you are recovering from an injury or just starting, we adjust the drills. You don't need to be fit to start; you just need to be curious about what your body can actually do.
