Tabla Studio Recording & Creative Fusion Jams
I help artists and producers find the perfect rhythmic pocket. From precise studio tracks to impromptu creative jams, let's explore how we can blend classical tabla with your unique sound.
This is what happens when you put a Mumbai tabla player and a Swedish drummer in the same room. I had a blast in this impromptu studio jam session, exploring the dialogue between our two rhythmic traditions.

About Studio Sessions & Creative Jams
When we record, I don't just sit and play. I bring 2-3 different Dayans (treble drums) tuned to the specific key of your track, ensuring the tabla sits perfectly in your mix. For digital projects, I work strictly with click-track precision, so your engineer receives clean, grid-aligned stems that are ready to drop directly into your production session.
I believe music has no borders, and that is the spirit I bring to every studio session and live jam. Whether we are blending classical Indian rhythms with jazz, hip-hop, or electronic soundscapes, the focus remains on finding the right pocket for the beat.
My approach to recording in Mumbai or remotely is deeply collaborative. I use Ableton Live to sample my own tabla, layer electronic triggers, or add auxiliary percussion like cajon and shakers to flesh out the groove. For live events, I am just as comfortable on a concert stage as I am in an intimate jam session. My goal is to add that specific energy where the tabla does not just sit on top of your track—it becomes an essential part of the music's foundation.
I am happy to handle remote recording sessions where I send high-quality WAV files, or we can book a 4-hour studio session in Mumbai to work through your arrangements. I am open to wild ideas and out-of-the-box experiments, so if you are looking to bring a distinct percussive texture to your project, let's connect and see what happens when the music flows.
