Batting Technique Coaching & Net Practice
Build a solid foundation at the crease. We combine personalized batting drills with high-volume net practice in Noida to help you master your timing, footwork, and shot selection.
The daily hustle in the nets is where champions are forged. This player is focused on his form, hitting ball after ball to build muscle memory.
The daily grind isn't always glamorous, but it's essential. Here, a player works on his batting technique, showing the dedication required to improve.
A typical net practice session at our academy. We provide a structured environment for players to face plenty of deliveries and work on specific shots.
Using the bowling machine allows for consistent practice against different speeds and lines. This session is focused on helping the batsman perfect his timing and shot execution.
"Good shot ladke!" This is what we love to see. During this net session, the focus is on holding the shape of the shot after impact, a key detail for powerful and controlled batting.
"Watch the ball beta." Here, I am encouraging Mahi to maintain her focus during a long session. We mix encouragement with technical advice to keep players motivated.
"Khul ke khel!" I always tell my players to play freely and express themselves. This video shows Mahi doing just that, hitting some great shots with confidence.
"Focus beta." In this clip, I'm reminding Mahi to stay focused and let the ball come to her. Small adjustments, like transferring weight forward, can make a huge difference.
Even our younger players are put through the grind. This training session focuses on footwork and getting into the right position to play a strong shot.
The cones and balls are set up for a specific drill, focusing on precision and technique. Every practice session is planned with a clear goal in mind.
About Batting Technique & Net Practice
We don't just ask you to hit balls; we fix your biomechanics. Whether it's correcting your head position, bracing your front leg, or adjusting your grip, we break down your batting motion into small, repeatable adjustments. We use sidearm throwers and bowling machines to ensure you get high-volume reps, meaning you spend less time waiting and more time perfecting your cover drive and pull shot in a real, floodlit match environment.
Cricket is played in the head and the feet before the hands. Our batting sessions at TUG Sports are designed to strip back your game to its core. We start with the stance, as balance is non-negotiable. From there, we move to weight transfer and head position. If your base is shaky, your shot will be too. We use cones for footwork drills and markers for shot-selection practice so you are not just swinging wildly; you are making deliberate choices.
Our net sessions are structured to mimic match conditions. We use sidearm throwers for pace and the Bowla bowling machine for consistent lines and lengths, allowing you to groove your technique against varied deliveries. You will be practicing on both turf and cement wickets, which helps in adjusting to different bounce patterns.
We do not believe in generic advice. Our ICC Level 2 coaches identify your specific faults, whether it is a tendency to fall over the front foot or losing shape after impact, and give you immediate, actionable feedback. We often use video analysis to show you exactly where your body alignment is breaking down. It is a grind, yes, but when you see the ball connecting with the middle of your bat because your fundamentals are finally locked in, that is where the real game begins.
