From shadow practice to high-velocity bowling machines, we break down your batting technique. We focus on building the muscle memory you need, whether you are fixing your front foot defense or leveling up your power hitting.

Here, one of my practice stage students is working on his front foot drive against over-arm throwdowns. The focus is on maintaining balance and a high elbow for a clean, powerful shot.

The bowling machine is a fantastic tool for improving reaction time. I'm instructing this young batsman to wait for the ball and play it late, ensuring he connects with precision and power in our indoor nets.

The pull shot is a game-changer. In this drill, I use lob balls to help my students perfect their timing and body rotation. You can hear me giving immediate feedback, "jaldi ghuma diya balla," to help him adjust his swing.

This drill is designed to build muscle memory for the sweep and reverse sweep. By using rapid-fire drop balls, I train my students to get into position quickly and execute these crucial shots against spinners.

A strong defense is the foundation of any great innings. Here, my students are using cones to guide their footwork during a front foot defense shadow practice, ensuring their form is solid and repeatable.

Shadow practice is where we perfect our technique without the pressure of a ball. These students are working on the back foot drive, focusing on transferring their weight and maintaining a straight bat path.

This judgment drill with a lob ball trains a batsman's decision-making. The player has to quickly assess the ball's trajectory and decide on the right shot, improving their reflexes and shot selection.

The slog sweep is a powerful attacking shot. I teach my students to get low and generate power from their core, as you can see this young player doing with a drop ball in the nets.

Here we combine two important shots in one drill: the front foot drive and the sweep. This helps players adapt quickly to different deliveries, a key skill for building a versatile batting game.

More shadow practice for the back foot drive. Repetition is key, and I make sure my students get the movements right until it becomes second nature.

About Batting Masterclass: From Foundation to Power Hitting

Most students struggle with weight transfer because they rush their shots. In our sessions, we do not just tell you to 'play forward'. We use specific cone drills and repetitive shadow practice to lock in your front foot defense before you ever face a hard ball, so you feel the difference in your balance immediately.
