A solid stance is everything. I am explaining the key details for a balanced and comfortable batting stance, focusing on shoulder width, knee alignment, head position, and backlift. These basics are non-negotiable.

Many batsmen get beaten on the drive because they don't commit fully. Here, I am teaching a student to get his body over the ball and lean into the shot, instead of just throwing his hands at it.

The sweep shot is a vital weapon against spinners. I am demonstrating how to get the head forward, bend the knee, and use the bat like a broom to control the shot along the ground.

Hitting long sixes is a must in modern cricket. I break down the technique for range hitting, explaining how to create room, complete the follow-through, and generate power for those big shots.

Learning the classic cover drive. In this drill, I am working with a young player on using his top hand to guide the bat, keeping his body aligned, and timing the shot perfectly.

A perfect front-foot drive requires the entire body to work together. This video shows a student executing the drive with a straight bat, head over the ball, and complete weight transfer.

Practicing the on-drive and straight drive. The key is to let the ball come to you and meet it under your eyes with a full face of the bat.

Facing fast bowling on the bowling machine helps build courage and quick reflexes. This 11-year-old is practicing his pull shot against balls coming at around 120-125 km/h.

Playing outswing bowling can be tricky. This drill focuses on getting the front foot towards the line of the ball and playing late, right under the eyes, to avoid edging it.
