Cricket begins with the basics. We focus on your grip, stance, and top-hand strength to build a technique that delivers results.

Our batsmen are sharpening their skills with a focused batting drill led by Vishal Sir. This exercise helps improve footwork, balance, and shot selection under expert guidance.

Here, one of our senior coaches is teaching kids as young as 7 the fundamentals of batting. We focus on proper grip, stance, and keeping their eyes on the ball to build a solid foundation.

The cover drive is a shot of elegance and power. This slow-motion clip shows a young batsman practicing the perfect cover drive, focusing on timing and body balance.

More practice on the classic cover drive. We use drills like this to help our batsmen master footwork and timing, allowing them to dominate the off-side.

A senior player at our academy is seen here mastering the pull shot. This drill helps in judging the length of the ball early and playing the shot with power and control.

A group of young batsmen practicing their forward defense. A solid defense is the bedrock of a good innings, and we ensure our players master it through repetitive drills.

Our SKCA Tigers group is working on their batting technique. The coach is guiding them to focus on timing, shot selection, and consistency, providing individual feedback to each player.

This drill focuses on both front-foot and back-foot shots. By practicing these movements, our players develop the versatility to handle any type of bowling.

Young trainees from the SKCA Tigers group are practicing their batting drills with great determination. Even at a young age, they understand the importance of hard work and practice.

About Mastering the Art of Batting

We use the 'ABC of Cricket' methodology, where your grip and stance are the absolute foundation. You won't find shortcuts here. We train for consistency, breaking down every shot from the forward defense to the cover drive using specific cone drills and net sessions so you build muscle memory that holds up in a high-pressure match.

Batting is not just about talent. It is about disciplined repetition and understanding the mechanics of every shot. At SKCA, whether you are a junior learning your first swing or a senior player sharpening your game, we ensure your technique is built on a solid base.

The Training Process

We don't just ask players to hit the ball. We focus on:

  • Stance and Grip: Correcting the foundation before moving to power shots.
  • Shot Selection: Learning when to drive, pull, or defend, backed by match simulation.
  • Visual cues: Teaching you to read the length of the ball early, just like I did in my international career.

Where You Train

All our batting drills take place at the PCL Sports Complex in Sector 143, Noida. We use a combination of synthetic balls for early learning and move to seasoned leather balls to replicate game-day conditions. Our seniors get access to 5 turf wickets for varied bounce, essential for mastering shots against spin and pace.

Why This Works

I personally oversee the coaching, along with my professional team. We don't coach in silos. We integrate group discussions, wicket-keeping synergy, and match practice to ensure your batting technique isn't just theory—it is practical, competitive, and effective. If you are ready to work hard, we are ready to teach.
