Monthly Track & Gym Training
Schedule & Venues
- Frequency: 3 to 4 sessions per week (typically early mornings).
- Duration: 75 to 90 minutes per session including warm-up and cool-down.
- Locations: Access to P.A. Mhatre Sports Academy (Track & Field) and Juhu Beach for sand conditioning.
Training Mix
- Run Workouts: Structured track intervals, tempo runs, and fartlek sessions.
- Gym Access: Usage of barbells and machines for runner-specific strength training, distinct from standard bodyweight groups.
- Technique: Hands-on guidance on foot landing, arm swing, and posture.
Analysis & Support
- Biomechanics: Initial video analysis of running gait to identify imbalances.
- Nutrition: One-on-one consultation for dietary assessment.
- Logistics: On-ground water and electrolyte support during sessions.
12-Week Marathon Training Block
Race Roadmap
- Structure: A 12-week plan customized to a target race (e.g., TMM, Delhi Half) including base building, peak, and taper phases.
- Long Runs: Guided weekend Long Slow Distance (LSD) runs scaling from 10km to over 30km with route planning and aid stations.
Technical Strategy
- Data Review: Coach analysis of training logs (pace, heart rate zones, cadence) to adjust weekly intensity.
- Simulations: Mock race trials on the track to test fitness and gear.
- Race Day Plan: Creation of detailed pacing charts based on the specific race course profile.
Recovery & Fueling
- Nutrition: Customized carb-loading schedules and hydration strategies for race week.
- Endurance Conditioning: Progressive overload strength protocols in the gym designed for fatigue resistance.

How We Coach
We go beyond just running laps. You'll get:
- Personalized marathon training plans, built for your goals. We start with biomechanics so you don’t get stuck with cookie-cutter stuff.
- A big focus on injury prevention for runners - proper warm-ups, cool-downs, stretching, and mobility. We’ll show you every move, not just tell you.
- Strength training for runners, with a mix of weight work, core, and plyometrics. We switch it up between the track and the sands of Juhu Beach.
- Race prep for everything from 10k to full marathon, plus nutrition advice and even the occasional high-altitude camp for those who want to go all in.

My Story
At Trackblazers, we’re more than just coaches – we’re a crazy bunch who treat each other like family. I’m Firoz, head coach here. We built this place so kids and grown-ups both feel at home, not just at practice.
