Tennis Technical Drills and Advanced Coaching in JP Nagar
Hard work, precise footwork, and intense drilling. We prepare you for real match play on our dedicated red clay courts.
A typical morning hitting session on our clay courts. Here, one of our women's players rallies with me to build consistency and practice handling pressure during long points.
This young player is developing a powerful forehand. We focus on teaching proper form and weight transfer from an early age to build a solid technical base for competitive tennis.
About On-Court Technical Drills
On our clay courts, we do not just hit balls back and forth. We focus on the 'Spanish drill' methodology, which relies on high-volume feeding, heavy repetition, and specific footwork patterns. You will sweat, and you will get your form fixed on the spot. Whether it is correcting your grip for a topspin forehand or fixing your backhand stance, we ensure every shot feels right before the ball even leaves your racquet.
The Spanish Methodology
We run high-performance sessions that mimic match pressure. By using basket drills, we create muscle memory for every shot. You will be moving constantly. We emphasize open-stance footwork patterns specifically for clay, allowing you to slide, recover, and hit with stability.
Why Red Clay Matters
We train exclusively on red clay. It teaches patience. You cannot just blast winners. You have to build points, manage your energy, and trust your technique. Our coaches are always shouting instructions—'Saamne dekh' (look forward) or 'Aage se' (from the front)—to ensure your eyes are on the ball and your contact point is in front of your body.
From Drills to Tournaments
Technical proficiency is only half the battle. We integrate fitness, agility, and yoga to keep your body resilient. We also hold internal match simulations on Saturdays. This allows you to test your drills in a real point-play environment, so when you enter the AITA circuit, the pressure feels like just another day at TTA.
Correcting Your Game
If you have a recurring fault, such as a weak kick serve or a slice that sits up, we break it down. We use video analysis to show you exactly where your contact point is failing. We do not stop until the movement becomes natural.
