From track speed work in Gurgaon to sunrise miles at Kartavya Path, I believe in training where the city breathes. Here is a look at my favorite routes and how we use diverse terrain to build real endurance.

Collecting my wealth: a sunrise run at Kartavya Path with India Gate in the distance. This is true wealth: good health, a strong stride, and breathtaking views. This is one of my favorite routes for long runs in Delhi.

Exploring the Aravalli Biodiversity Park in Gurugram. The natural inclines and soft trails are perfect for building strength, improving endurance, and giving your joints a break from the hard pavement. A true hidden gem for runners.

A 16 km run in Dehradun, right in front of the Indian Military Academy. Running in my childhood vacation spot filled me with a sense of patriotism and nostalgia. It's a reminder that running connects us to places and memories.

A 15 km run in my hometown, Haridwar, with the iconic Om sculpture in the background. Running along the Ganga is a spiritual experience that rejuvenates my soul. I always make time to train, no matter where I am.

A fast 5km tempo run on the track at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurgaon. The track is where we build speed and refine our form. This session, done with my training buddies, shows the power of community in pushing your limits.

A 15 km long run through the green streets of New Delhi. Sunday long runs are a staple of my marathon training programs, designed to build endurance and mental fortitude.

About this collection

Training isn't just about the miles; it's about the terrain. I intentionally mix track work at Tau Devi Lal Stadium for speed, Aravalli trails for strength-building inclines, and long road runs to test mental endurance. If you join my program, we don't just track your pace on a watch—we adapt your plan to the specific environments you are training in, ensuring your body learns to handle heat, humidity, and elevation changes effectively.

Building Strength Through Terrain

Running in Delhi NCR is tough. Between the humidity and the urban chaos, you need a strategy that goes beyond just lacing up your shoes. I teach my runners how to manage breathwork, heart rate, and cadence regardless of the conditions. We use the Aravalli Biodiversity Park for soft-ground strength work, which is vital for preventing the shin splints and knee issues common on hard city pavement.

My Training Philosophy

  • Purposeful Movement: Every run has a specific reason. If we are at the track, it is for speed and form. If we are on trail, it is for stabilizer muscle strength.
  • Environmental Adaptation: I help you pick routes that serve your race goals. Hill repeats are for power; flat stretches are for marathon pacing and building consistency.
  • Data-Driven Progress: Even if we aren't running the same route, I use data from your Garmin or Strava logs to adjust your training schedule based on where you are. If you are struggling with a specific incline or feeling burnout from the heat, we modify the plan.

Whether you are training for your first 5K or prepping for a full marathon, the environment is your greatest teacher. My role is to help you read that environment and use it to become a more resilient runner.
