About Food for the Soul

Eating here is intentionally slow. We prepare everything from scratch using seasonal produce, whether it is our signature Burmese curry or a simple salad bowl. We do not believe in quick fixes, just honest food that helps you reset your system, even if you are only stopping by for a quick laptop session.

Our approach to food is simple: sattvic, seasonal, and kind. We run our cafe in Bandra as an extension of our shala, believing that what you put into your body is just as important as how you move it on the mat.

Our menu focuses on wholesome nutrition without the fuss. The signature Burmese curry with red rice noodles is a community favorite, offering deep, comforting flavors without the heaviness. We also serve thin-crust healthy pizzas and guilt-free desserts, such as our apple cinnamon millet cake sweetened with jaggery. If you are looking for a mid-day refresh, our cooling kokum drinks or basil seed coolers are crafted specifically to beat the Mumbai heat.

This is not a place to rush. You will find people working from our cafe with high-speed WiFi, sharing a meal on our terrace, or chatting in our library. If you are here for a workshop or just need a moment to unplug, you are welcome to sit on our floor cushions or grab a table. We aim to balance the wild energy of the city with a space that feels like a quiet sanctuary. Whether you are coming in for a structured work session with a digital nomad day pass or just need a quiet corner for a meal, you are home here.
