Music isn't about being perfect, it is about connecting with your own rhythm. Whether you are a total beginner or just looking to find your voice again, join our community in a space where judgment is left at the door.

We are so proud of the first members of 'The Naad Collective', our music club for adults. Here they are, performing with soul and conquering the stage.

A member of The Naad Collective sings with confidence, accompanied by a keyboardist. Our events provide a platform for everyone to share their love for music.

Another passionate singer from our Naad Collective event. You don't need to be a professional musician to join, just a love for music is enough.

A glimpse into our Shadaja for Adults class, learning a beautiful bandish in Raga Khamaj. It's a space for pure learning and musical joy, without any pressure.

Learning the intricacies of 'taal' in our adult class. We welcome everyone, from curious beginners to secret bathroom singers, to explore the magic of raagas together.

Our music community, The Naad Collective, was featured in Mid-Day. We created this space for like-minded people to connect over the lilting notes of Indian melodies.

Have you always wanted to learn music? We are always starting new beginner batches for adults. This is your sign to join us and follow your passion.

About Rediscover Your Voice: Music for Adults

Most of us grew up thinking music was only for the talented few, but we believe the exact opposite. In our adult sessions, you won't be auditioning for a stage or worrying about technical perfection. Instead, we focus on the basics of swars and taal in a group setting where breathwork, stress relief, and community connection take center stage. Whether you join 'The Naad Collective' for a relaxed sing-along or our 'Shadaja' classes for structured learning, we ensure you feel comfortable enough to just let go and sing.

Two Ways to Join In

We know that everyone has a different relationship with music, which is why we offer two distinct paths for adults in Mumbai:

  • Shadaja for Adults: This is our structured program. We meet weekly to explore Hindustani classical foundations. We break down the complex raagas into bite-sized concepts using musical games and notation. It includes live tabla or harmonium accompaniment, helping you get a true feel for rhythm cycles. It is perfect if you want to learn the 'why' and 'how' of music in a systematic but gentle way.

  • The Naad Collective: Think of this as a music club for those who just want to connect. There is no curriculum here. We meet to listen, share, and sing together. It is about the shared human experience of melody. If you have ever felt like you wanted to sing but didn't want the pressure of a 'class,' this is your home.

Why Music for Mental Well-being?

We didn't just design these sessions for skill-building; we designed them for sanity. In a city like Mumbai, finding a quiet space to breathe is hard. Our classes integrate Pranayam (breathwork) and focus-building exercises. You will find that the patience required to learn a bandish translates directly into how you handle your day-to-day stress.

We keep our batch sizes small—usually around 8 to 10 people—to ensure everyone gets individual attention. Whether you are a 'bathroom singer' or someone who hasn't sung since school, you are welcome here. No prior experience is needed, just a curiosity to explore your own voice.
