Think you can't sing? Think again. At Swarmaanas, I teach anyone who loves music, regardless of their background. Join our happy community in Mumbai and Pune to find your own unique voice and sing with true confidence.

My journey with singing wasn't always easy, especially being compared to my famous mother. This taught me that singing is about joy, not perfection. In this video, I share my story and my core belief that "Anybody Can Sing," which is the foundation of everything we do at Swarmaanas.

It's moments like these that I live for. Listen to one of our dear students share her transformative journey from being a "bathroom singer" to finding the confidence to perform. This is what happens when you let go of fear and just sing for happiness.

A good voice starts with good breathing. Here, I explain a simple but crucial breathing technique to get better resonance and avoid straining your voice. My classes are filled with practical tips like this to make singing feel natural and easy.

This is the beautiful result of our coaching: students singing their hearts out with confidence and joy. Seeing them perform together, feeling the music, is the ultimate goal. Gaat raha, khush raha!

Our community is a warm and welcoming space for everyone. This is a happy group from one of our recent Voice Culture workshops. We have students from all ages and backgrounds, all united by their love for music.

At Swarmaanas, we also believe in giving back. I started "Singathon," our annual singing competition where you get to sing for a cause. It’s not about being a professional, it’s about sharing your voice to help others.

I am blessed to have learned from the best, including my mother, the legendary playback singer Smt. Uttara Kelkar. Here she is, sharing her wisdom during one of our celebrity music workshops.

About Featured

Many students come to me worried they aren't 'singer material.' Forget that. My classes aren't about being a professional playback singer; they are about finding joy in your own sound. We focus on breathing techniques, correct posture, and microphone handling that make you sound better from day one. Whether you are a bathroom singer or someone who has always felt too shy to perform, I promise that with the right guidance, your voice has its own special beauty.

Why I Started Swarmaanas

My journey wasn't about being a perfect singer. People often compared my voice to my mother's, the legendary Uttara Kelkar, which made me self-conscious. But my guru, Ashok Patki ji, taught me that singing is about 'bhaav' (emotion) and expression, not just technical perfection. I realized that if you can talk, you can sing. I founded Swarmaanas to be a judgment-free space for the '35% wale'—those who believe they can't sing but want to experience the happiness that music brings.

How We Teach

Music is therapy. We don't just teach notes; we teach you how to connect with the songs you love. Our sessions are designed to be practical:

  • Breathing & Resonance: We work on diaphragmatic breathing to give you better control and prevent vocal strain.
  • Voice Modulation: Learn how to make your singing more dynamic and interesting.
  • Stage Presence: Simple tricks, like singing with open eyes, help you connect with your audience and overcome performance anxiety.

Choose Your Path

Whether you are looking for a structured 3-month certificate course in Mumbai, a 2-day weekend workshop in Pune, or a recurring monthly hobby batch to keep your practice consistent, we have a space for you. We keep our batches small to ensure everyone gets personalized feedback. You will learn foundations like Swara Gyaan and Taal, but we focus on Bollywood, light music, and folk songs that you actually enjoy singing. Gaat raha, khush raha—keep singing and stay happy.
