Master the basics of Hindustani classical music in a space that feels like home. We teach swaras, alankars, and raags with a focus on building confidence, one note at a time.

A typical beginner's vocal batch session. Here, students are sitting together and practicing Raag Bhupali. This group setting helps them learn from each other.

A multi-talented group of kids. Here they are singing the sargam geet of Raag Malkauns while also playing the harmonium and tabla. This is how we make learning classical music interactive and fun.

The happy sounds of our Friday session. A group of kids singing their hearts out with big smiles. This is what our classes are all about: learning with joy.

A moment of one on one guidance. Here, our guru is teaching a student the finer points of a melody on the harmonium. This personal attention is crucial for growth.

A happy group of students with their guru after a fulfilling class. The comfortable and friendly atmosphere in our Malad branch makes learning a pleasure.

About The Foundation: Hindustani Classical Training

We follow the traditional Baithak style, keeping our classes grounded. By sitting on floor rugs during our classical sessions, students find it easier to control their breath and connect with the sur. It is a simple setup, but it helps our students focus deeply without the formality of a typical classroom.

Learning Hindustani classical music is about understanding the language of sound. At our Malad and Dahisar studios, we break down complex concepts like Raga, Tala, and Swara into bite-sized lessons that anyone can grasp, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to refine your technique.

Why Classical Matters

Classical training acts as the bedrock for all your singing. When you understand the nuances of a Raag like Bhupali, you gain better control over your pitch and diction, which makes singing Bollywood songs or bhajans significantly easier. We blend 60 percent classical theory with 40 percent light music, so you get the technical foundation and the fun of learning your favorite songs.

How We Teach

Our approach is focused on you. Classes are capped at 8 students to ensure you get personal attention, and we use live harmonium accompaniment to train your ear effectively. We avoid high-pressure environments; instead, we foster a supportive tribe where everyone grows at their own pace. If you are looking for formal recognition, we also guide interested students through the Gandharwa Mahavidyalaya exam syllabus.

Whether you are looking for a new hobby or a serious musical pursuit, our doors are open. We keep the environment supportive—no stress, just constant, steady progress. Visit our Malad East or Dahisar East center to see how we practice, or reach out to ask about our upcoming batch schedules.
