A Snapshot of the Lupa Experience
Welcome to our Tuscan villa in the heart of Bengaluru. From our buzzing open kitchen to the quiet secrets of our underground wine cellar, get a taste of what makes us tick.
Welcome to our home. This is the heart of Lupa, where the energy is buzzing and the glamour of old-school Europe meets the warmth of a Bengaluru get-together. It's the perfect backdrop for big wins, small joys, and everything in between.
Watch the art of flavour in motion. This is our Hamachi Crudo, a delicate balance of fresh fish, pickled elements, and a vibrant sauce, all coming together right before your eyes. It’s a plate that’s as beautiful to watch as it is to eat.
Step into our best kept secret. Twelve feet underground lies our private wine cellar, a climate-controlled haven for some of the world's finest wines. It's an intimate space available for exclusive tastings and private dinners.
Feel the heat from our live Robata grill. This is where the magic happens, with flames charring everything from tiger prawns to miso-glazed eggplant to perfection. The sizzle and smoke are all part of the show.
Meet the Pastrami Messy Toast, a dish that lives rent-free in our heads. We cure the pastrami for 16 days, hot smoke it, and pile it high on buttery brioche soaked in beef jus with a creamy sauerkraut slaw. It's worth getting your hands messy for.
It's a luxe life. From tins of premium caviar to a lineup of our signature cocktails, we believe in indulging the senses. These are the details that turn a simple meal into a memorable experience.
A glimpse into the engine room. Here at the pass, Chef Manu Chandra and the team are in constant motion, ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen meets our standards. This is where instinct and precision come together.
About this collection
We do not just cook here, we curate. Take our pastrami—we cure it for 16 days before it even touches the brioche. It is that obsession with the process, from the smoke of our Robata grill to the precise pour of a tableside martini, that defines the Lupa experience.
When we built Lupa on MG Road, we wanted more than a restaurant. We wanted a Tuscan villa that feels like home for our Bengaluru family. You will see that reflected in the way we operate. Our kitchen is not tucked away, it is our stage. Whether it is the 90-second firing of a Neapolitan pizza or the flames of our Robata grill, the action is constant. We believe in high-quality European and Mediterranean flavours, but we are not afraid to sneak in local soul.
It is the details that change everything. We smoke our own mackerel, make our own Nduja sausage, and yes, we really do spend 16 days curing our pastrami to get it just right. If you are coming for dinner, you might find yourself led 12 feet underground to our climate-controlled wine cellar, a quiet vault housing 2,000 bottles, a stark contrast to the buzzing energy of our bar above.
We are constantly evolving. Our menu changes, our pop-ups come and go, and our bar team is always refining the tableside Martini experience. Whether you are here for a quick power lunch, a lazy Sunday Lupino brunch, or a late-night cocktail, this space is yours to explore. We are here to stay, and we would love for you to join the table.
Lupa
We are Lupa, an unapologetically European villa right here on MG Road. We are obsessed with the craft, from 16-day cured meats to our underground wine vault, and we have built this place to be your go-to spot for everything from big celebrations to quiet, well-earned breaks.
