About The Underground Wine Cellar & Tastings
When you join us in the cellar, it isn't just about the wine in your glass. You will sit down with experts, often the winemakers themselves or our lead sommelier, to break down the flavor profiles of bottles from Bordeaux, Tuscany, and beyond. It is a quiet, 12-seat environment designed for you to actually talk about what you are drinking, paired with a menu built from the ground up to match the vintage. 🤌🏾
The Cellar Experience
Tucked 12 feet underground, our climate-controlled cellar is the antithesis of the noisy bar deck upstairs. We created this space because sometimes, you want to escape the crowd and focus entirely on the bottle. The 'In Vino Veritas' dinner series is our marquee offering here. We bring in industry experts, like Sommelier Nikhil Aggarwal, to guide you through a flight of wines, while our kitchen team prepares a 5-course meal that matches the pour perfectly. ✨
What to Expect
- Guided Tastings: These are not lectures. They are real conversations. Whether we are pouring Penfolds from Australia or a Super Tuscan from Italy, we talk about why the label is eye-catching, why the terroir matters, and how the wine reacts to the food.
- The Pairing Logic: You won't find generic food here. If we are serving Sea Bass Ceviche, you can bet the Vermentino in your glass has the exact right notes of grapefruit and green apple to lift it.
- Limited Capacity: We cap these sessions at 12 to 25 guests. It keeps the vibe focused, ensuring every guest gets a chance to ask questions and engage with the person pouring the wine.
