About Exclusive Chef's Table Dinners
These dinners are intimate, personal experiences, not your standard restaurant booking. Because we keep seating limited to preserve the atmosphere, we release tickets for each menu in small batches. You’ll want to check in early to grab your spot, as our themed nights—like our Malnad Maduve Oota—usually fill up quickly.
When you book a seat at my Chef’s Table, you aren't just coming for dinner; you're stepping into the stories I grew up with. I design these evenings to be a multi-course exploration of regional Indian cuisine, drawing on recipes passed down from my Amma, my Ajji, and the talented women who shaped my culinary perspective.
Each event is themed around a specific region. You might find yourself enjoying a 14-course Malnad Maduve Oota, exploring the distinct spices of Kodava culture, or diving into a Dakshin Soirée. We work with ingredients that tell a story, like bamboo shoot curry or traditional chiro, crisp rice snacks, and traditional desserts like Badami Haalu.
Because Klayworkz Barista is at its heart a creative space, the environment for these dinners is quite different from a formal dining room. We set the table with flowers and traditional decor, creating a setting where strangers become friends over the course of the meal. It is a slow, relaxed, and sensory-focused event where the pace of the city outside just fades away.
If you have dietary preferences or are attending with a group, let me know when you reach out. These dinners are limited-seat events, so if you see a theme that piques your interest, don't wait to book.

I’m Dr. Darshan, and these dinners are my way of bringing the recipes of my family to your table. I love creating a space where the food is just the start of the conversation, and you leave having made a few new friends.
