About this collection
I’ve purposefully designed these shirts without the itchy neck labels you find on mass-produced clothes. We use soft satin labels or go tag-free altogether because I know how quickly a scratchy tag can turn a fun afternoon at the park into a fuss-filled meltdown.
Why I love Ikat for little ones
When I started, handwoven Ikat was my first love, and it remains a signature at The Little Stitch. The fabric is naturally breathable and incredibly soft against a child’s skin, unlike stiff, synthetic shirts that make them sweaty during play. Because we work directly with weavers, these shirts have a unique texture that actually gets softer with every wash.
Prints that kids actually want to wear
Beyond our handwoven pieces, I curate cotton shirts with quirky prints—dinosaurs, elephants, and cars—that kids get genuinely excited about. These aren't just for 'special occasions.' I make them for school, garden days, and playdates.

We don't mass-produce. Every shirt is stitched with care, often in small batches, ensuring you aren't getting something stamped out by a machine in a factory. The Little Stitch
My journey started with my own son, so I make clothes I’d feel good putting him in. When I’m not at the workshop with my team, I’m probably hunting for fabrics or testing out new prints. It’s just me and a handful of skilled artisans making sure every stitch is worth it.
