About this collection
Sometimes, a print or a specific cut in my sketchbook doesn't make it to the final collection, and that is part of the process. If you spot a sample or a specific design pattern in these photos that you love, please send me a message. I am always happy to discuss whether I can recreate it for your little one.
Running The Little Stitch is a journey of constant learning. This cluster is my way of showing you the 'behind-the-seams' reality—the fun graphics, the website launches, and the prototypes that taught me so much about what works for active kids.
Why Our Design Process Matters
Every piece of clothing I design starts with a simple thought: comfort. Whether it is an Ikat shirt or a hand-blocked frock, I spend time testing the fabric. I use only 100% cotton and ensure every dress is lined with soft Mulmul to keep children comfortable during long days of play.
Ethical Fashion Choices
I believe in slow fashion. This means I avoid mass production and prefer working with traditional crafts like Shibori and block printing. When you see a new style here, know that it has been crafted with azo-free dyes and minimal waste. It is about creating clothes that are not just beautiful, but safe for sensitive skin.
How to Shop Our Latest Work
I regularly update my design book with new prints, from dinosaurs to tropical flowers. If you see something you like, don't wait for a seasonal launch. Since I work directly from my workshop, I can often customize the fit or adjust the design to suit your specific needs. It is my way of ensuring your child gets a garment that feels like it was made just for them, without the stiffness of store-bought clothes.
The Little Stitch
I started The Little Stitch because I wanted clothes that let kids be kids. Every piece here, from our first Ikat shirts to our latest website experiments, is a little part of my journey as a mother and designer.
