About Kids' Casual & Everyday Wear
My Take on Kids’ Everyday Clothes
I believe clothes for kids should be simple, comfy, and let them be themselves. No need to save naye kapde (new clothes) for special days - every day is special when you see your kid excited to wear something soft and fun.
What’s in Our Collection
- Co-ord Sets & Playwear: Easy to move in, super versatile, and perfect for sibling twinning or running wild at the park. The cuts are made for actual play - nothing stiff or fussy.
- Dresses & Frocks: All made from breathable cotton, some organic cotton too. You’ll spot our Luka Chupi (hide and seek) dress and simple airy frocks with tie-up shoulders. Perfect for messy garden days or just chilling at home.
- Handwoven Shirts for Kids: My first designs were Ikat shirts, and I still love making these. We also have shirts with quirky prints - dinosaurs, elephants, cars, fruits - all soft and easy for everyday wear.
- Jumpsuits, Rompers & Jhablas: For the tiniest ones, our cotton jhablas (infant tops) are a lifesaver for quick changes. Jumpsuits and rompers are practical and cute for playdates.
Why Our Clothes Feel Different
- We use 100% cotton, often organic, so everything is gentle and breathable for sensitive skin.
- Indian crafts matter to us - block printing, hand-stitching, Ikat, Shibori. Each piece has a story.
- Many kurtas double up as dresses, so you get more wear out of each item.
Kids’ casual wear shouldn’t slow them down. I make sure it never does.

My Story
My love for fabrics started with my mom – she’d bring home prints, and I’d dream up my own dresses. Never really learnt stitching, just picked up the passion. Years later, my own child became my muse and The Little Stitch was born. My days look like any working woman’s: coffee, cooking, hopping trains and autos to the workshop. Some days are tough, guilt about waste and all, but seeing 145 kids smile in new Diwali clothes – yaar, that’s magic. I’m learning, unlearning, and grateful.
My Work
Conscious Cotton Kidswear - We make casuals, nightwear, ethnic wear, rompers, onesies, and twinning sibling sets for ages 0-12.
All-Day Comfort - Every piece is soft cotton, lined for extra comfort, with elastic waists and easy openings for fuss-free play.
Ethical & Handcrafted - We do slow fashion, using Kalamkari with natural vegetable dyes and handwoven Ikat. No mass production here.
Versatile Styles - Our clothes aren’t boxed in. Kurtas with jeans, party dresses for playdates – made for memories, not just occasions.
Unique Little Details - Think tassels, layered sleeves, our own prints. Favourites? Nila ghagra choli, Bhoomi ghagra with circle patterns.
