About Kids' Ethnic Wear
I started The Little Stitch because I honestly believe kids’ clothes should let them run, jump, and just be themselves. Here, it’s all about outfits that look good at a puja, work for a birthday, and still feel comfy enough for random playtime.
Comfort First, Always
- Every piece is made with soft, breathable handloom cotton kids outfits. No scratchy bits. No tight fits. Just clothes kids don’t want to take off.
- We line all our garments with cotton, so even sensitive skin is happy.
Indian Craft with a Fun Twist
- I work with local artisans for traditional techniques like Kalamkari, Ajrakh block printing, Ikat, and Kantha.
- Expect everything from classic motifs to playful phool (flowers), pakshi (birds), and even strawberries.
- Look for fun details - tassels, lace, and, yes, real pockets on girls’ outfits.
What You’ll Find
- Ghagra cholis, Paavada sets, Angrakha kurtas, Bundi jackets, and festive jhabla sets for newborns.
- Matching sibling ethnic sets. Twinning is totally a thing here.
- Sizes run from newborn to 12 years. Customization is possible if you need something special for wedding season or a festival.
For All Celebrations (And Messy Days)
These outfits are made for Diwali, Rakhi, Haldi, or just so your kid feels a little extra. No fuss, just honest, comfortable clothes that celebrate a bit of Indian tradition.

My Story
My love for fabrics started with my mom – she’d bring home prints, and I’d dream up my own dresses. Never really learnt stitching, just picked up the passion. Years later, my own child became my muse and The Little Stitch was born. My days look like any working woman’s: coffee, cooking, hopping trains and autos to the workshop. Some days are tough, guilt about waste and all, but seeing 145 kids smile in new Diwali clothes – yaar, that’s magic. I’m learning, unlearning, and grateful.
My Work
Conscious Cotton Kidswear - We make casuals, nightwear, ethnic wear, rompers, onesies, and twinning sibling sets for ages 0-12.
All-Day Comfort - Every piece is soft cotton, lined for extra comfort, with elastic waists and easy openings for fuss-free play.
Ethical & Handcrafted - We do slow fashion, using Kalamkari with natural vegetable dyes and handwoven Ikat. No mass production here.
Versatile Styles - Our clothes aren’t boxed in. Kurtas with jeans, party dresses for playdates – made for memories, not just occasions.
Unique Little Details - Think tassels, layered sleeves, our own prints. Favourites? Nila ghagra choli, Bhoomi ghagra with circle patterns.
