Five years ago, I made the impromptu decision of starting a business I had no professional experience in. So glad I took that leap.
The Tales are never ending, as they should be. Honestly, I just don't want to bore the algorithm. But truly, I love what I do.
2022 was a rollercoaster. We experimented with new styles, worked with new clients, and grew so much. This video is a little recap of a wonderful year. Alhamdulillah.

I do not just hand off a design plan and vanish. Whether it is a small birthday gathering in a Mumbai apartment or a larger event, I am on the floor, literally, ensuring the balloon density looks right and the floral runners are aligned exactly as we planned. That is why I get those pre-event jitters, because I know the difference between a good setup and a great one is in the final fifteen minutes of placing every last bloom.
Our Story: From a Hunch to Five Years of Events
Five years ago, I made the impulsive decision to start a business I had zero professional experience in. I would like to say I found my purpose, but honestly, my purpose found me. What started as a humble balloon business has grown into a full-fledged event decor company, but the core remains the same: I get nervous before every single job because I want it to be perfect for you.
The Process: It is All in the Details
When you hire The Balloon Tales, you are not just getting props; you are getting a team that cares about the outcome. We source our flowers fresh, often from Dadar market on the morning of your event, to ensure that the jasmine or tuberoses are fragrant and the roses are vibrant.
My team and I spend our time meticulously managing logistics—whether that means finding wall-safe mounting for a ceiling canopy in a rented space or ensuring a shimmer wall is perfectly level. We have worked in venues across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area, from intimate home gatherings in Bandra to larger product launches.
Why We Do It
People often ask if the late nights and the stress are worth it. The answer is always yes. There is a specific kind of magic in turning a plain, empty room into a space that feels special for a birthday, a Nikah ceremony, or a housewarming. When the client sees the work and smiles, it truly makes the long days worthwhile. Alhamdulillah, we have had an incredible journey so far, and I cannot wait to see what the next few years bring.
