Traditional & Festive Celebration Decor
Bringing the warmth of tradition to your Mumbai home. From fragrant jasmine garlands to brass urli arrangements, I style your festive moments with a personal, soulful touch.
There's nothing more beautiful than a Nikah on Eid. I designed this elegant backdrop using curtains of fresh jasmine and pink carnations, creating a fragrant and delicate setting for the ceremony.
For this Griha Pravesh, we created a welcoming entrance with traditional floral curtains made of fresh roses and tuberose, complemented by arrangements on the floor.
A beautiful floor arrangement for a housewarming, combining vibrant marigolds with woven palm leaves and other traditional greens for a festive and auspicious look.
Details that make a house a home. For this Griha Pravesh, we placed brass urlis at the entrance, one filled with floating jasmine and candles, and the other with lotus buds.
Classic marigold flower strings, or 'genda phool ladi', hanging in a doorway. The vibrant yellow color is a symbol of celebration and happiness in Indian culture.
We created a beautiful walkway for a housewarming event using tall grasses and a bed of marigolds, guiding guests into the newly blessed home.

A closer look at the brass urlis. The combination of water, flowers, and floating candles is a traditional way to welcome guests and bring positive energy into a home.

About Traditional & Festive Occasions
I head to the Dadar flower market before sunrise on your event day. I want those tuberoses and jasmine strings to smell like they just left the field when they hit your doorway. It makes a genuine difference in how your home feels the moment you walk in for a ceremony.
Traditional decor is about creating a sense of arrival. When you step into a home for a Griha Pravesh or a Nikah ceremony, the space should feel blessed, fragrant, and vibrant. I move away from stiff, factory-made setups and rely on nature.
I work extensively with local favorites like genda phool (marigold) and rajnigandha (tuberose) because they are deeply rooted in our celebrations. These are not just flowers; they carry a scent that signals 'celebration' the second you open your door. For an entrance, I like to layer heavy strings of marigolds with mango leaves, a classic combination that signifies prosperity. Inside, I balance the intensity of these florals with calming elements like brass urlis, water, and floating candles. This mix of warm light and fragrant blossoms transforms an ordinary apartment hallway or living room into a dedicated space for rituals.
One thing to note is that I prioritize freshness above everything else. I source my flowers from the market early on the morning of your event. This means your jasmine strings will be at their peak when guests arrive, not wilted or tired. Whether it is a small ceremony or a large gathering, my goal is to make the decor feel like an extension of your family’s warmth.
