We believe architecture is a cultural spark, not just a structure. Our commitment to narrative-driven, community-centered design has earned recognition from international platforms like ArchDaily and The PLAN Award.

We were elated to have our TAPMI Centre nominated for the ArchDaily Building of the Year 2025. This image, featuring the building's iconic amphitheater, was part of the official announcement.

Our MARC Auditorium was also nominated for the ArchDaily Building of the Year 2025. This recognition for two of our institutional projects in the same year was a proud moment for our studio.

This video was created to announce the TAPMI Centre as a finalist in the Architizer A+ Awards. It showcases the building's unique bamboo parasols and its integration with the surrounding landscape.

The Manipal School of Architecture and Planning (MSAP) was nominated for the ArchDaily Building of the Year. This video highlights the project's dynamic brick facade and porous ground floor.

We were thrilled to be finalists in The PLAN Award 2023 for two residential projects, the Brick House and Project 58, seen here. This award recognizes global excellence in architecture and design.

About Awards & Recognition

Our recognition at platforms like ArchDaily and The PLAN Award serves as validation for our non-linear approach to design. When our projects, such as the TAPMI Centre or the Brick House, are acknowledged globally, it confirms that architecture rooted in local context, sustainable materials, and porous, community-focused layouts resonates far beyond our site boundaries in Bengaluru and Manipal.

Architecture for us is an esoteric journey, a search for spaces that breathe and blend with their land. The awards we have received are not merely accolades for aesthetic appeal. They represent a global consensus on the importance of creating democratic, institutional buildings that act as public plazas, and residential ecosystems that dissolve the barriers between the built and the natural.

We often find that the most profound design conversations occur when we question the brief. For instance, the TAPMI Centre’s recognition for its bamboo parasols and integration with the landscape reflects our obsession with reviving ancestral craft. Similarly, the nomination of the Manipal School of Architecture and Planning highlights our belief in permeable structures that encourage spontaneous learning and movement.

We design for the long term. Whether it is an institutional campus that uses stepped terraces to create social gathering points, or a private residence that uses rammed earth and red oxide, our goal remains constant. We create spaces that allow for human connection. These awards are a testament to the hard work of our entire team—a tribe of architects who believe in being Indian in spirit while crafting narratives for the world. If you appreciate architecture that carries a story, we would love to build one with you.
