Yoga and Flexibility Training in RR Nagar
Fitness is not just about the grind. I include yoga and stretching to help you recover, stay flexible, and keep injuries away after we sweat it out together.
We start our yoga sessions with Tadasana (Mountain Pose) to center ourselves and focus on our breath before flowing through the asanas.
The entire class in Balasana (Child's Pose). This is a restorative pose we use to gently stretch the back and calm the mind.
A forward fold (Uttanasana) during our yoga practice. This pose is excellent for stretching the hamstrings and releasing tension in the back.
A wide shot of the class in a forward fold, showing the collective focus and dedication to their practice.
A moment of stillness and focus. Yoga is not just about physical postures; it's about connecting the mind and body.
Using stability balls for a deep back stretch. This is a great way to improve spinal flexibility and release tension after a workout.
A glimpse into our yoga flow, moving from Dhanurasana (Bow Pose) to Urdhva Hastasana (Upward Salute).
About this collection
You won't just hold poses here; we use stability balls and props to deepen the stretch. It is not about perfect form from day one, it is about listening to your body so you can come back stronger tomorrow.
Why Recovery Matters
After a high-intensity session of dance cardio or step aerobics, your muscles need a reset. My yoga and cool-down sessions are designed to lower your heart rate, release tension in the shoulders and back, and improve your overall mobility. If you are pushing hard to lose weight, skipping this phase is a mistake because that is when your body actually heals.
What To Expect
We start with basic flows to center your mind and focus on your breath. From there, we move into deeper stretches using stability balls and mats to target the areas that feel tightest. Whether you are struggling with a supported headstand or just trying to touch your toes, I guide every student individually to make sure you are safe. We focus on:
- Flexibility: Stretching out tight hamstrings and hips.
- Core Stability: Using yoga to build the strength needed for those heavy tyre flips.
- Mental Calm: Taking a moment to switch off and relax after a loud, energetic workout.
